French couple Maïlys and Nico drove their entire cafe setup (and life) over from France in a van to test London as a market. Their retro, funk-inspired vegan café fast became a word-of-mouth hit, transforming a long-vacant unit near Edgware Road into a vibrant neighbourhood hub.
With Nico in the kitchen and Maïlys front of house, BIG sister blended zero-waste principles, soulful food and a great playlist to create a feel-good space, with regular queues out the door.
